Tech debt and deprecations
Retire the flags that finished rolling out and the shims every consumer has moved off.
The debt list already has an owner and a date that passed a while ago.
A wrapper every team has stopped using and a flag that finished rolling out both get retired one at a time, and the list entry gets closed.
Complete one entry from the tech debt list
The register entry is closed by the pull request that did it
Remove reminders whose work is done or no longer wanted
Each removal justified in the description, never silently dropped
Bring one setting back to a single place
One source of truth, callers migrated, tests on the resolution
Collapse a feature flag that has been fully rolled out
Both branches accounted for, the dead branch removed
Implement the reminders left in one module
Each one becomes working code with a test, not a deletion
Remove a compatibility layer once every user has moved
Consumers verified in the description, the shim deleted
Remove a feature the product decided to stop offering
Traffic confirmed at zero before removal, tests updated
